We are the writers, producers, directors, actors, musicians, production crew, designers, studio executives, attorneys, agents, managers, CFOs and CEOs- we are in front of the camera and behind it.

Our purpose is to empower, promote, nurture and mentor women in the fields of entertainment and media. We accomplish our goal through networking, workshops, internships, scholarships, mentorships, competitions, classes, events, the production of PSAs and many other activities.

Our many programs, such as the Film Finishing Fund, run by the Los Angeles-based Women In Film Foundation, and the Women’s Film Preservation Fund, operated by New York Women In Film & Television, move the women’s cause forward all over the world.   

Our reach is global, with more than 10,000 members spread across four continents, 18 countries and 35 chapters worldwide (17 chapters in the U.S.).
